The science of speed.
The power to win.

Small-group powerskating for hockey players. Precision mechanics, explosive power and the athlete mindset — from a coach who has been doing this since 1999.

Why this coach

A playing career behind the teaching.

AAA Hockey Canada coach mentor, 2007–2010

What gets worked on

Three things that decide a shift.

Every camp comes back to the same mechanics, scaled to the age group in front of the coach.

Edges and posture

Balance over the blade, and a forward stride that still holds together in the last five minutes of a shift.

Explosive starts

First-three-steps and crossover mechanics worked at game speed, not walked through at half pace.

Changing direction

Tight turns and transitions — changing direction without paying for it in speed.
